In Odysys, there are a couple of ways for you to set your pricing. To get up to speed with these terms, reference this help article.

If your rates are publishing differently than you intend, or they don't match between Odysys and MyAllocator, you may have some overlapping or conflicting seasonal dates, specials or overrides set in Odysys.

  • Select Pricing under the Reservations tab

First: Review Your Seasonal Pricing Dates

The first screen you will see under the Reservations tab is Seasonal Pricing. See the example below. Note how the seasons overlap in May. This will cause issues with your rates.

Solution: Edit the dates of your seasons so there are no overlaps or gaps in the dates.

If you make edits or delete your specials or overrides, be sure to "Push Availability" as directed above to send the update to MyAllocator as quickly as possible. Then review at MyAllocator to see if the issue is resolved.

Next: Review Your Specials and Overrides for Issues

In the Specials and Overrides tabs. The key things to look for are

Overlapping dates. For example - if 2 overrides include the same date, or if a special and an override include the same dates, this can cause an issue with your rates. In the example below you can see that these 2 overrides have overlapping dates. This may cause problems with rates or minimum nights if the rules within these overrides conflict with each other.

Solution: Review and edit or delete specials or overrides as needed. Click here for information on managing specials and overrides. If you make edits or delete your specials or overrides, be sure to "Push Availability" as directed above to send the update to MyAllocator as quickly as possible. Then review at MyAllocator to see if the issue is resolved.

Lastly: Check for Incorrect Rules

In the Overrides tab, look for incorrect rules set for Rates, "Min Nights", weekdays vs weekends, etc. Overrides will literally override every other rate or minimum night in the date range. In the example below - each of these settings need to be set correctly to get the desired outcome.

Solution: Review and edit or delete specials or overrides as needed. Click here for information on managing specials and overrides. If you make edits to or delete your specials or overrides, be sure to "Push Availability" as directed above to send the update to MyAllocator as quickly as possible.
