Use Promotions to offer your guests a Promo Code that they can enter when making a reservation.

Guests will enter the code in the "Promo Code" field during the final stage of making a reservation.

A Promo Code can apply to any type of pricing, whether it is the base Seasonal Pricing, a Special Rate, or an Override.

For a more detailed description of pricing, see Overview of Seasonal Pricing, Specials, Overrides, and Promotions.

To add a Promotion:

  1. Open Booking Engine from Mission Control.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select

3. Select the Promotions tab at the top.

4. Click the pink New Promotion button to create a New Promotion Code or the grey Edit button when editing an existing promotion.

5. Set up the promotion:

-Start Date: The start date for the Promo Code (first date of stay, not booking).

-End Date: The final date for the Promo Code (final date of stay, not booking).

-Book by Date: The date by which a guest must book their visit in order for the Promo Code to work.

-Calendar Display: The name of the promotion int he Booking Engine calendar. This will be visible to guests.
Note: This name only displays on the calendar after a guest enters the code, so it will only be visible if the guest scrolls back up to the calendar after entering the code.

-Min. Nights - The minimum number of nights a guest must book to for the Promo Code to be eligible.

-Promo Code - This is the code a guest enters in Booking Engine to receive the promotion. Provide this code to your guests when sending out marketing materials, emails, social media messages, etc.

-Room Discounts -The rate for each room when a Promo Code is used. You have three options for setting Promotion Rates.

1.) Special Room Rates: Set the nightly rate for your room(s). Leave a room's rate blank in order to use normal default pricing.
2.) Percentage Discount: Set the percent discount off the room's nightly rate. Leave a room's percentage discount blank to use the normal default pricing for that room.
3.) Dollars Off Discount: Set the dollars off the room's nightly rate. DO NOT use a negative number. The amount you put in will be the amount deducted from the nightly rate.  Leave a room's percentage discount blank to use the normal default pricing for that room.

Days This Override is Valid: Choose the days which you would like your override to apply: Weekdays, Weekends, or All Days.

Note: Weekdays and Weekends are defined/set in your Booking Engine Settings > Business Rules.
